Mood: Hey, cool bush.

I don't know what kind of bushes these are, but the way they are faded out feels very appropriate to winter. They almost look alien in nature. Very beautiful, even though the chances are good that they are weeds. It was a cold morning run, and although I've seen these bushes many times before under the bridge that connects the two sides of the Highline Canal under University Blvd, I never truly took them in until this morning. They looked very cool, especially on this freezing morning.
