Mood: Monitoring what feels like unnecessary construction.

This large open meadow is very beautiful and provides a great view of the mountains and some pretty trees. Over the last two months, there has been an ongoing construction project to allow me to step ten yards further into the meadow and look at it from a pedestal. I am flabbergasted that it takes multiples of months to build this little overlook, but here we are. Construction began in January, and as you can see from this morning's photo, there is still a good ways to go before it will be open to the public. I am actually eager to look once this is all finished to see if that extra ten yards was worth it. At least it's given me something to monitor the progress on. Perhaps in a few more months when they are actually finished, I can post a photo of the finished product.
